Rishilpi

Rishilpi was founded in 1977 to improve the lives of the -untouchable- Rishi caste. Presently the company works with more than 4.000 artisans in Southwest Bangladesh, making a wide range of handmade products.

 

From Palm Leaf baskets to Jute Macramé bags, all items are carefully crafted by hand from natural materials. The company-s buyers are also welcome to submit their own designs and developments, the company is experienced in product development and subsequent production.

 

Rishilpi is both committed to planet and people and has been able to create a sustainable livelihood for its artisans, while at the same time supplying high quality products for its buyers.
