Tekura

Tekura makes distinctive furniture and interior décor items. We craft contemporary pieces inspired by Africa-s heritage in traditional furniture making. Our collection includes tables, stools, mirrors, cabinets, bowls, vases and candleholders. We use offcuts and stumps left over by the timber industry, and only source from sustainably managed forests. All our pieces are crafted using the skills and style of local artisans.

What started out in 2000 with two artisans, has now grown into a company with a well-equipped workshop with about 25 artisans and a gallery in Accra. To demonstrate our social responsibility, we are working on fair trade verification with the WFTO Guarantee System.
