BaSe

BaSe was founded in 1977 to promote handmade products from Bangladesh. The producer groups, consisting of around 10.000 producers (99% are women), actually own the company.

 

One of the strongpoints of BaSe is the ability to develop customized products in collaboration with their buyers, according to their designs and requirements.

 

Next to customized products BaSe has its own collection consisting of handmade items such as Date Palm-leaf and Jute Basketry, Jute Macramé & Crochet Bags, Nakshi Hand Embroidered home textiles and accessories.

 

BaSE is Fairtrade guaranteed and uses local raw materials, aiming at producing as sustainably as possible.
