Crafts Villages

Bangladesh consists of 68.000 villages and only a few cities. Villages are the backbone of this country. They are inherently rich with their crafts, cultures and traditions. Crafts Villages was established in 2014 to connect the artisans in the villages with the rest of the world.

 

In this process the company aims to improve the lives of the artisans, of its employees and of all other people involved through education, medical

assistance, restoration of cultural values and establishing mutual respect by fairly marketing the Crafts Villages- products.

 

Next to the social impact Crafts Villages also ensures a low carbon footprint by using locally sourced raw materials from renewable sources such as hogla (seagrass), jute, palm leaves, bamboo, cane, grass, date

leaves and many more.
